Busy Schedule? Same-Day Dentist in Plano, TX

At Dental Renaissance, we are committed to providing comprehensive and convenient dental care to all our patients. We understand that you are busy so you do not always have the time to visit the dentist. We know that schedule conflictions often cause you to delay dental care or procedures. We do not want to see you delay care any longer. We offer same-day dentistry with CEREC technology for convenient care. As your dentist in Plano, TX, you will benefit from the most advanced technology to simplify your dental care.

What is CEREC?

CEREC is a revolutionary piece of dental technology that allows us to mill custom-made dental restorations right in our office in just one day. CEREC uses the most advanced technology to simplify the entire process for dental restorations, such as crowns for root canals. Now, you undergo the entire dental procedure in just one day because we know how valuable your time is.

Traditionally, the process to receive a dental restoration would require multiple appointments. During the first appointment, your tooth is prepared. Then, impressions are taken, which are needed to create your custom-made crown. This is often a difficult and uncomfortable experience for many, especially if you have severely damaged teeth or strong gag reflexes. After the impressions were taken, they were sent to an off-site dental lab to create your crown. For about two weeks, you would have to wear a temporary crown. Finally, when your crown is ready, you would have had to come in for a second appointment to have the temporary crown replaced with your permanent crown.

With CEREC, this entire process is much simpler, faster, and more comfortable. Your tooth is prepared just as it is with the traditional method. However, instead of taking an impression, we use 3D scans to take images of the tooth. These scans are then sent to our CAD/CAM software. Here, we can customize your crown to meet the exact size, shape, and color specifications you need for a flawless restoration.

Finally, the information is sent to our in-office milling machine. The milling machine will create your custom-crown from a single block of ceramic material. In less than an hour, your new restoration will be ready to be bonded to your tooth. There is no need for a second appointment or a temporary crown.

Your Dentist for Same-Day Dentistry

With CEREC technology in our office, we not only increase the speed of care, but accuracy as well. You will benefit from a more precise restoration with less room for error. While the entire process only takes about an hour, you will benefit from a high-quality, durable restoration that looks like a natural tooth. Best of all, you can book your appointment around your schedule so you no longer have to delay care due to schedule conflictions.

If you need a dental crown in Plano, TX, we invite you to experience the best dentistry has to offer with CEREC. Contact our office today to schedule an appointment.
