Before you undergo treatment, we make sure that we fully understand what you want to achieve, so we can accomplish a beautiful smile that exceeds your expectations. Our staff will also thoroughly assess your oral health and give you important information on how you can practice good oral hygiene at home. In some cases, a patient’s dental circumstances may require referral to a specialist (an oral surgeon or orthodontist, for example). If so, you can be sure that the specialist will be someone who shares the same values and commitment to patient care that we do — a commitment to take care of our patients with honesty, integrity and respect.

Christopher Pollard, D.D.S.

Dr. Christopher Pollard graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology before obtaining his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988. He became a dentist so that he could combine his love for science with his desire to help others.  Dr. Pollard is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry , and the Sleep Disorder Dental Society.

Dr. Pollard is married and has two children. Dr. Pollard and his family attend the Wylie Church of Christ in Wylie, Texas, where he and his wife teach children's Sunday school classes.

Bhavita Patel, D.M.D.

Dr. Bhavita Patel began her professional career in 2004 after receiving her DMD from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. She practiced in Florida with her mother before moving to Texas in 2005. Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the North Texas Dental Society.

Dr. Patel's husband is a physician at Baylor. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and spending time with family.

Dyan, Dental Assistant

Dyan is a graduate of Dental Careers Foundation affiliated with Collin County Community College. She is responsible for helping Dr. Pollard streamline his patient care throughout the day. When she is not busy at work, she is busy at home with her nine year-old, 2 and 1 year-old children. She enjoys cooking and entertaining with friends.

Ellen, Dental Hygienist

Ellen brings twenty-seven years of experience in general and periodontal hygiene to the practice. She is responsible for multiple areas of preventive care including periodontal therapy, sealants and patient education. Ellen graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, the TDHA and the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. When she is not working, she stays busy with her three teenage children and enjoys golf, bike rides and traveling.

Karla, Dental Assistant

Karla graduated from Dental Careers of Dallas in 1987, and is very experienced with both chairside dental assisting, and front desk duties. She enjoys boating with her husband and three children, and scrapbooking at home. Karla is an active member of Rodgers Independent Baptist Church and a member of the PTA. She was also voted "Best Dental Assistant of 2000".

Kathie, Dental Assistant

Kathie brings a strong background of 18 years in dentistry to our practice. She utilizes her skills to assist Dr. Pollard in operative procedures and also helps the staff in their daily duties. She is active in the United Methodist Church and is a member of the PTA at her daughter's school. During her leisure time, Kathie enjoys photography, scrapbooking, traveling, helping with her daughter's soccer team, and spending time with family and friends.

Pam, Appt Coordinator

Pam has many years of experience in dentistry. She began dental assisting in high school and after many years, she became a front office coordinator. She is an active member of Hunter's Glen Baptist Church and enjoys reading, gardening and traveling. Pam loves to spend time with friends and family, including a daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter who live in Virginia.

Sheila, Office Manager

Sheila has been in dentistry since 1989. She is responsible for ensuring our office runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. She grew up in Garland and married her high school sweetheart. They enjoy snow skiing and camping, and have two kids: their son Tyler, a freshman at the University of North Texas, and their daughter, Taryn, who competes in barrel racing. During her leisure time, Sheila plays softball and enjoys watching her Texas Longhorns.

Tish, Dental Hygienist

Tish brings a diverse dental background to the office. Her career began when she joined an oral surgery practice in 1996. She was later accepted into the dental hygiene program at University of Louisiana, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2002. At our office, she is responsible for all aspects of dental hygiene including patient education, and supportive periodontal therapy. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and Texas Dental Hygiene Association. Tish enjoys many hobbies including dance, wakeboarding, golf and gardening with her husband, Marty.

Angie, Dental Hygienist

Angie graduated Cum Laude from Texas Women's University after attending Allen High School. Her mother was a dental assistant for 30 years, and Angie was interested in dentistry at a young age. In our office, she provides gum disease therapy, places dental sealants, and educates patients about oral healthcare and gum disease prevention. After hours, Angie enjoys movies, antiquing, cooking with her husband, Brian, and spending time with family and friends.
