CEREC One-Visit Crowns

When damage or decay reach the point that a regular filling won't work, Dr. Pollard or Dr. Patel will likely suggest a crown. Usually made of porcelain or precious metal, crowns cover an injured tooth to strengthen the remaining structure. Our dentist uses CEREC technology to generate attractive crowns, inlays, and onlays for our patients in one appointment.

In the past, it took at least two visits for patients to receive a permanent crown. We can produce your CEREC crown in about an hour. Strong and reliable, CEREC restorations will revitalize the health and appearance of your mouth.

CEREC MachineAfter we take a 3D image of your tooth, our CEREC machine can mill a gorgeous, all-ceramic restoration in about an hour. CEREC allows Dr. Pollard or Dr. Patel to customize the crown to your needs -- matching the color and the fit precisely. We take CEREC crowns to the next level with our in-office porcelain oven, which allows us to stain and glaze the crown so that it matches your tooth shade and looks extremely natural. Not all offices take this extra step of firing the porcelain crown, but it is a step worth taking, because it adds 20 percent more strength to the porcelain. Once your crown has been created, Dr. Pollard or Dr. Patel will permanently place the CEREC crown during the same visit.

Dr. Pollard and Dr. Patel have been using CEREC crown technology for their patients since 2006. These crowns are phenomenal in their strength and esthetics and have a documented success rate that surpasses gold restorations.
