Your initial appointment will last about an hour or an hour and a half. After completing paperwork for registrati
on, you’ll be escorted to an operatory. To save time, we recommend filling out your forms online. At your appointment, we will discuss your health history, dental history, immediate pain and concerns, and long-term goals. We will also take your blood pressure, and if necessary, we’ll update your records with X-rays at this time.

With advanced diagnostic technology, the dentist will evaluate your entire mouth – teeth, gums, occlusion, jaw joints, and soft tissues. A head and neck evaluation, oral cancer screening, gum disease assessment, and intraoral/extraoral photographs will complete your checkup. All of the information we gather will be reviewed by Dr. Pollard or Dr. Patel, and you will be encouraged to become an active participant in treatment planning. Please ask questions and share your thoughts so that we can create a custom dental care plan that makes you feel confident and comfortable.
