Meet the Dentists

Christopher Pollard, DDS

Dr. Christopher Pollard graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology before obtaining his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988. He became a dentist so that he could combine his love for science with his desire to help others. Dr. Pollard is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the Sleep Disorder Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Pollard has completed an intensive ten-month, 320 hour, dental implant maxi-course with the Medical College of Georgia’s Dental School. He has passed the certification exam given by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is currently pursuing his fellowship accreditation.

Dr. Pollard is married and has two children. Dr. Pollard and his family attend the Wylie Church of Christ in Wylie, Texas, where he serves as a deacon over benevolence, World Bible School, and Bible classes. He and his wife enjoy teaching children's Sunday school classes. When Dr. Pollard is not at the office or the church building, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and smoking meats.

Bhavita Patel, DMD

Dr. Bhavita Patel began her professional career in 2004 after receiving her DMD from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. She practiced in Florida with her mother before moving to Texas, and joined Dr. Pollard in 2006. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the North Texas Dental Society. Dr. Patel and her husband, a physician at Presbytarian Hospital of Dallas, have one daughter. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and spending time with family. They also enjoy watching football, and are big fans of the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida Gators.

Dr. Patel is very friendly and very modest, and Dr. Pollard is proud to say that she is one of the most professional, courteous, and kind dentists that he has ever associated with. Her commitment to excellence is a virtue that serves her patients well.
